We spent two sunny days painting near Charlotte Pass in the Spring thaw. I’ll never forget the beauty of that place

 

John allowed us artists to go down to his beautiful property on the Snowy River in NSW Monaro district for a week. This plein air work showing the late afternoon light on the riverbank was made over three afternoons when the light was golden and the shadows were long and blue.
